Billie Jeanette Rich, 65, of Lorena, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017, in Lorena.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Tuesday, at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Ward Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Billie was born on November 8, 1951 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to the late Bill Washburn and Melba Jean Briles Hicks. She married Bobby Rich on July 17, 1971 in Hobbs, New Mexico. Billie was a retired teacher, and attended The Ark Church in Conroe, Texas. She lived over 35 years in Hobbs, several years in Houston, and the past year in Lorena. She was very loving to her family; her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby; daughters, Dusty and husband Chad Horton of Liberty Hill, and Rainey and husband Kelly Brooker of Willis; grandchildren, Zared Maxwell and Steven Chase, Nathan Maxwell, Snowden Rich, Tristen Brooker, Autumn Horton, and Cashton Horton; great grandchildren, Olivia Chase and Oliver Chase; sister, Jozann and husband Tim Ray of Stephenville; brothers, Mike and wife Jane Carter of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and Allen Washburn of Norman, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Jason and wife Julie Smith, Laura and husband Bryan McKean, Brandy and husband Robert Smith; Toni and husband Todd Price, Chanell and husband Frank Dayton, Jake and wife Kitsy Carter, Corey and wife Jenny Washburn; Jennifer and husband Sammy Renteria; and Katy Carter, Michelle, Diana, and Tina Flenniken, and Jamie and Patrick Webster.

Besides her father and mother, Billie was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Blue and Tobbie Smith.

The Rich family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
